Watchmen by Alan Moore
Watchmen by Alan Moore shows many key themes we see so often in regular life. This book faces the issue of personal philosophy. It shows the difference to live in pain or to not live at all. It shows the decisions we may have to face, and how to deal with them. When Dr.Manhattan is accused of spreading cancer to the people who he loved, he decided to exile himself, instead of dealing with the consequences of this issue. If shows that you can avoid possiblilities, but it will affect others just the same. This is an important theme in real life, and it shows options and opportunities in real life. Whether your a mask or a human, these issues can be serious problems in modern society.

He wrote the song, My Bologna, and it was featured on the Doctor Demento radio broadcast. The story of this life is actually very interesting. A lot of songs by Weird Al also where created by him. Weird al is famous for parodying songs, and got popular for doing it. His albums have gone gold and platinum. Some of his hits include, Fat, Eat it, and Amish Paradise.

The Year of Living Biblically
A J. Abrams book, The Year of living biblically, is incredible. It is a book about a Angostic man from a Jewish background, who decides he wants to take the Bible and Torah completely literally for a whole year. Half of this year will focus on the Torah, half on the Bible. This literal following includes following religious sacrifices, building, praying, binding prayers to the body, and many other rituals.
This book really shows religious transformation. A J goes from simply believing in a higher power to following Christ and God to the highest degree. He follows them, preaches about them, even almost endangers his life by doing this. He learns about the Amish, the Catholics, the Jews, and even the Snake handlers. A. J learns about the cultures and traditions passed down from his great grandparents, and learns about the passion of Christ. I think this is an incredible book, and teaches a lot about literal meaning, and interpretation. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a funny, intriguing, and religious story.

The Swamp Thing: Book 3
I love the Swamp thing. I have read books 1-3, the crossover with animal man, many of the new single new 52 issues, and am watching the movie later this week. But this book really intrigued me. Instead of the normal comic interface, this book did something different. It used more literary devices and truly showed how the Swamp thing was feeling. It also introduces the newest villain in the seres, who was tragically deformed by plutomium. I think this book is incredible, and shows how well Alan Moore can write. This was a triumphiant book, and i really look forward to reading Moore's future work.

The Salmon of Doubt
The salmon of doubt was created as a conbonation of all the unfinished works by Douglas addams. It shows his love for Monty Python, the Beatles, and comedy genius of the world. I think this book shows the best of Douglas, even in his passing. From Dirk Gently to The HItchhikers guide, Adams was a genius. He created thousands of pages of memorable stories, and guided America. think this was an incredible book, and i reccommend it to everyone.

Sonnet 1
Through the notes I listen, a troubled song
And throughout the notes moving so freely
I wonder to myself what's going wrong
Why would someone say songwriting is easy?
The song bounces and never fails to play
It rhymes and it remains harmonious
Yet something seems simply not to go my way
Maybe it needs to be melodious?
It keeps me moving through what we call life
And it makes me move on better without strife
Maybe I must spend more time with the wife?
And not end my life promptly with a knife.
The song flashes always throughout my head
Maybe I must promptly go to bed.

Douglas Adams : A Salmon Of Doubt
Douglas Adams book "A Salmon of Doubt" is a very cool and interesting book. Technically , It was written by him, but it was published after his death. It was compiled of his letters to editors, his writing for other books that never came out, and his memoirs. It's a really good book, and shows behind the scenes look at Douglas ' writing. I recommend this book to anyone who has read a Douglas Adams book, np but not to anyone who is just starting out with his writing. Douglas style of writing is an acquired taste. But if you enjoy British humor, like the Pythons, then you will enjoy this book .

Douglas Addams, Last Chance To See
Douglas Adams "Last Chance To See " is an exploration of the world. The story is about Douglas Adams travels to find almost extinct creatures. These include Kakapos, the White Rhino, The Blue Whale, and the Aye-Aye. Douglas Adams travels far and wide to find these animals, even though there is little chance of finding them. For example, Douglas is told by a villager that there are incredible creatures in their area then the Fruit Bat he is looking for. So Douglas decides to stay there for a week. Here he finds the Pink Pidgeon, a slightly endangered species. He also sees the fruit bats he was looking for originally, to which his tour guide says, "They're not endangered. They're dozens of them." I recommend this book to any fans of Douglas' pervious works, such as "The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy" . I also recommend this book to all fans of animals, as well as comedic writing.

Penn Jillette: Every Day is an Athiest Holiday
I have not been able to commit to a book for a few weeks. I have started reading this Penn Jillette book, and can't put it down. I saw some of the newest celebrity apprentice season, and thought chemistry between Clay Akien and him was explosive and funny. Penn is actually a great guy. He treats his kids nice, and really cares about his family, he respects everyone he knows, and treats Teller like a brother. He respects everyone on the show, even if he doesn't show it. This belief in equality between celebrities and normal people is a strong one. I think penn is a great example of a modest celebrity. I think people should look up to people like him as a role model, because she shows how deep celebrities can actually be, and is completely honest with himself and the audience.

The Room : a novel based on the movie by Tommy Wiseau
I have recently read the novelization of the movie The Room. I have seen this movie 4 times, and it gets funnier every time. This movie, for those who have boot watched it, is a Romantic movie written, directed, and starred in by Tommy Wiseau. This movie has turned into a black comedy by the U.S , and there are several cults associated with it. There are multiple errors in this movie. Characters forget things that are happening in the book, there are random, unexplained pictures of cutlery throughout the house, copied scenes, and, overall, truly horrific acting. imbd gave this movie a 3 out of 10. Is movie was so bad it was funny. And the book really explained it. How some characters where not introduced by name until the credit scene. How the movies following made a difference. I think this book was hilarious, and showed a funny view of this romantic movie, and I recommend it to everyone.

Monty Python and Philosophy : Nudge Nudge, Think Think
I have begun reading Monty Python and Philosophy : Nudge Nudge, Think Think. I really enjoy this novel. I think its a very interesting book, because it talks about life and philosophy and a context we can all understand. I am a huge Monty Python fan, and had to pick up this novel on my Nook. It speaks about several sketches, ranging from the flying circus, to the meaning of life. But today, I selected something from the middle. I have seen the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" numerous times, as it is one of my favorites. Yet, I have never thought about it on such a level of understanding as this book brought out. It told the truths of the 7 sins. It showed the bonds of friendship and togetherness, yet was incredibly funny. I was very surprised by this, and if you have seen the movie, this is an amazing read, and I think you should purchase it. Enjoy!
